Happy Boxing Day

So you miss out on the Hay trip but get this instead:

Today i finished the fourth in the Aberystwyth books by Malcolm Pryce which i loved and went to the pub with a couple of my peeps.
"Don't cry for me Aberystwyth" was really good, took me a whole year to read unfortunately but glad i did.  I miss Aber every day but realised i would need to leave at some point.  Everything Louie describes i can relate too and miss more and more, it's a shame it means Jenny leaving to draw me back in February.

Anyway, went to the Barn tonight with Rhys, Huw, Matthew, Claire, Lowrie and  Adie, was a laugh and ended up with us in Legends which was OK, can't believe i've been there twice in as many weeks, weird

Made plans for new year today which were better than previously thought out.  Bogiez had no draw for me and Chris and Kates house party did not peak my interest, explained this tonight and Rhys agreed.   With any luck will get in the car on 31st Dec and drive to mid wales somewhere, A470 and turn left, find a pub advertising a new year celebration and join in, failing that we would have tents and beer and whisky so all things considered it could be worse.

Will keep you posted

Let me start off by saying

Whoa first post, figured I would get around to a blog eventually, have just taken my time over it.

Did start one once back in university, muttered about the first episode of Joey - disappointing, and watching Lost in Translation - Very enjoyable, should really watch that again at some point, hmm, anyway where was I? Oh yes, there I am.

So a little about me to get that out the way, trainee accountant currently living in Cardiff, I know, I should therefore be too boring to be of any consequence but stick around and I might suprise you.  I'm not your typical grey suited accountant, I may have a fondness for organisation (I'm a bit anal about keeping books, music and films in order, ideally alphabetical but genre also works) but I'm a gamer, heavy drinker and rocker in my spare time so not all bad eh?

So I've been thinking lately about getting this blog on the go, mainly because i'm reading so many rss feeds each day I figure i should be able to come up with at least something to talk about, but also because the diary idea never really took off.  Back last year i read the Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx, a fantastic experience and one i would recommend to anyone, Motley Crue fan or not, not the heroin of course but the diaries.  So i read that over Christmas and New Year last and thought it would be a good idea to keep something similar going myself, not for any real reason but because it might come in handy some day.  I've kept a diary off and on for the last 5 years or so but i;m not particularly good at writing something up each day so there was always big gaps here and there but i hope things can be different this time.

So thats should suffice as an intro, not great i know but its all you are getting.  Next time should be an interesting ramble about my recent trip to Hay on Wye, or even how i spent my Sunday.  Can't hardly wait...
